Our union wish to bring the followings to the kind notice of Divisional Administration on the above subject.

We are having
more confident that the tenure
posts like as Checker post cited in the
above reference would be filled up according to rules and orders

time.
However, we wish to bring
some orders issued by the Regioal/Divisional level which
are taken into
account while filling up the tenure posts in our Division.
1). One service union made complaint to the PMG Tiruchy that the
frontline activist of union holding the post like Divisional/Regional Secretary or Federal councilor should not be posted in the sensitive post like Instruction clerk I & II and it was accepted and ordered by the PMG Tiruchy and thus Sri.M.Gavanahan, Checker was shifted from the post of Instruction clerk II. .
At present we came to know that Sri.N.Rengarajan, SA, the DIVISIONAL
SECRETARY / REGIONAL SECRETARY AND FEDERAL COUNCILOR of a service union applied for the post more sensitive than the post of Sri.M.Gavanahan, SA hold.

frontline activist of union holding the post like Divisional/Regional Secretary or Federal councilor should not be posted in the sensitive post like Instruction clerk I & II and it was accepted and ordered by the PMG Tiruchy and thus Sri.M.Gavanahan, Checker was shifted from the post of Instruction clerk II. .
At present we came to know that Sri.N.Rengarajan, SA, the DIVISIONAL
SECRETARY / REGIONAL SECRETARY AND FEDERAL COUNCILOR of a service union applied for the post more sensitive than the post of Sri.M.Gavanahan, SA hold.

Also, another order issued by the SSRM that the official who broken their tenure prematurely at their own interest like Sri.N.Rengarajan,SA who worked in the Sorting-I branch which is the FIVE YEARS TENURE POST and some others should not posted until they complete the two times of tenure ( i.e. Sri.N.Rengarajan’s tenure period of 5 years + 5 years = 10 years and others 4 + 4 years ) in operative side. Here when the above officials breaking his tenure at his own interest he worked in the sorting Branch which is the 5 years tenure post. .

3). Further a disciplinary proceedings on a fraud
case in c/w he made the Rubber
stamp of HRO Tiruchy and he himself put the signature of HRO Tiruchy
for getting loan
from Andhra Bank
Tiruchy is still pending. In view of the foregoing there is a precedent for the rejection of his
application for tenure post. .
Hence we request the Divisional Administration that the above aspects
may please be taken into account while filling up the above post.
We strongly hope that our century old Division would retain/maintain
its tradition as in the past. .

women employees in intoxicated condition
of
Sri.S.Appadurai,SA SRO Mayiladuthurai on

while on night duty and threatening

This
letter is regarding the anti working culture, anti decorum of office and
misbehavior towards the women employees and giving them mental torture by
Sri.S.Appadurai,SA,SRO Mayiladthurai.
He
is working as HSA in Mayiladuthurai RMS since the LSG HSA is now vacant.
On
13.09.2015 he was the HSA in the set not attending office works but sat down in
the centre floor of the office and opening liquor items which are prohibited in the Govt. office premises,
with tiffin items and consumed everything and laid down on the floor itself
while all others were working in the office but
he often raised his head only by
supporting his hand and made supervision
on the set, it was informed to this union.
At
midnight after 00.30 hrs when the
officials went to mail exchange
he wake up; he was seen with banian only fully sweltering condition and
stood across the two women employees and making comments and tried to chatting
and misbehaving with them; in an extreme
stage he thrown some packets down often and often and ordered the women staff
to pick the packets; by seeing his uncondition and misbehavior the officials
feared very much and requested help from others. On the intervention of others
only the said Sri.S.Appadurai stopped his activities and all other officials
forced him go outside office.
It
was reported to the IP RMS ‘T’ 3rd on the same date and also it was
brought to the notice of Mrs.S.Appadurai and she in turn informed that this
kind of complaint is the big nuisance of him and requested to take stringent
action.
Our
union also wish to bring your kind notice that this kind of his behavior is not a first instance but
already many cases are pending with DO.
Already a lady
staff Sri.Malini,SA has resigned her job due to his tortures.
Already a LADIES HARRASSMENT CASE IS PENDING with DO.
A passport-which was pocketed by him-case is
pending with DO.
An insured not
disposed and after mishandled case
pending with DO.
Acting of
Railway TTE case is also pending with Railway Police.

Further, at present it was informed us
that;
1. He is
in the regular habit of coming office on intoxicated and during the office hour
also he consumes and taking advantages towards the females.
2. He supplies prohibited items to other innocent
officials during the duty hours.
3.
He uses the mail office on closed days
of Saturday night after 22.00 hrs, Sunday and Postal Holidays for all his own
convenient.
4.
He is in the habit of making unanimous
call by various landline phone to women employees during night hours while they
are in rest at home.
5.
Asking only the parents women employees
as saying he is the HEAD SORTING
OFFICER/SUPERINTEDENT of Mayiladuthurai
to send him Non-veg curry, fish,chicken &mutton kuzhampu through their daughters.
6.
Following the lady staff after duty in
train and buses taking the seats of near them.
7. He
relieves from office before the completion of duty by Uzhavan Exp in the
morning.
8. Walking
here and there with casual wears that is too with banian only in the office.
9. Regular
deposit and missent in his set and making remarks in the DR reg deposit.
10. Demanding
and giving tortures to the outsiders saying no duty to them if they not ready
to give bribe regularly eventhough they are arranged by the SRO.
11. Smoking
at the doorstep of office and spreading it inside the office is his another one regular habit eventhough
many ladies are working in the set.
These are a few example for his
activities in the office. We request the SSRM, that this kind of activities
which affect the entire atmosphere of office and also making fear among lady
staff , and threatening them if they comes to report may please be checked with
stringent action for ensuring the staff especially lady staff at Mayiladuthurai
feel secured.
